Truck-Lite Europe Installs New Automatic Defibrillators at European Headquarters in Harlow
To increase our efforts in health and safety on-site for staff members, visitors and the local community, we have installed three brand new fully automated defibrillators in key areas across our European Headquarters in Harlow, Essex.
The life-saving kit has been installed in our main office building, our factory and our distribution centre.
Although we hope that we never have to use them, defibrillators are proving to be a vital piece of equipment in public spaces across the world.
The British Heart Foundation now provides a transformative new system called The Circuit. This is The National Defibrillator Network which allows organisations to put their defibrillators on the map, allowing the emergency services to locate the nearest defibrillator and consequently save lives.
‘At the moment, many defibrillators never get used because emergency services don’t know where they are or how to access them. This can cost lives and that’s why this new infrastructure is so vital.’
